Business Chambers and Associations

The Havelock Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization that currently represents approximately 55 businesses in the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen (HBM) and surrounding area.

The mandate of the Havelock Chamber, as approved by its members, is to:

• Work with Municipal Council and staff to support, protect and promote/encourage the economic well-being of all businesses in the HBM Township.
• Speak as one voice for all business interests in the Havelock and greater area community.
• Provide information (via a website) for all businesses currently in HBM Township and any new businesses wishing to establish themselves within our community.
• Provide mutual assistance and an opportunity to network with all business interests in the community.
• Promote HBM Township and local communities as a viable economic place to visit and to grow a new business.

• Through its many varied programs, events, and activities, the Peterborough and the Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce advances and promotes the well-being and interests of local businesses and communities they serve.

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) is the indispensable partner of business and Canada’s largest, most influential provincial chamber. It is an independent, non-profit advocacy and member services organization.
