Zen Home and Cottage Cleaning Services 

The Village of Havelock has a new Wash and Fold service, an expansion of Zen Home and Cottage Cleaning Services, a well-respected local business celebrating its 5-year anniversary in April. Jena Trimble, Zen Home and Cottage Cleaning Services’ owner and operator, has launched a *new* retail space conveniently located within the village limits at the intersection of Mary Street and Highway 7 in the Town N' Country Plaza. All Zen Home and Cottage Cleaning Services are offered and coordinated through the new retail space, as well as the much sought after Wash and Fold services (drop-off and pickup). Year round, they employ 2 full time staff and 2 part time staff members, and during their peak season they employ as many as 12 – 15 employees. Jena has completed the Starter Co. Startup (Dec’2022) program that provides entrepreneurs with training and mentorship to help launch or grow their early-stage business. She also completed the Scale Up (Oct’2023) program, a transformative advisory program designed to help local businesses grow sustainably (Community Futures Ptbo).

HBM Council and staff will be on hand to cut the ceremonial red ribbon and officially open Zen Home and Cottage Cleaning Services’ retail space. Stay tuned for more information regarding this upcoming event.

COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTIONS
Havelock residents will recognize Jena Trimble’s name, she and her young family have lived in our community for 9-years and is an engaged volunteer. She has led the Havelock Figure Skating Club as President for the past 6-years. She is a founding member of HBMProud community organization, helped to build the Havelock Outdoor Rink, and launch the annual Havelock Fire & Ice Festival. She started and has operated HBM Ladies 3 Pitch leagues for the past years. Needless to say, Jena is very busy both professionally and personally, and she’s thriving in both aspects of her life.
