HBM Township - Storm Update

HBM TOWNSHIP UPDATE
A huge thank you to all our dedicated Public Works and HydroOne crews who have been working around the clock to restore services throughout our community. Your tireless efforts in the face of challenging conditions do not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done to help us recover.
As per Environment Canada's April 1, 2025 @ 5:46 am weather statement; anticipate freezing rain, followed by significant rainfall midweek. The rain, at times heavy, is forecast to total amounts 20 to 40 mm.
HBM ROADWAYS:
Public Works crews have cleared all municipally maintained roadways for two-lane traffic.
STORM DEBRIS & BRUSH DISPOSAL:
HBM residents can deposit storm debris, branches, and brush (no tree trunks or stumps) at the 6th Line Transfer Stations for free. In addition, brush can be dropped off at 647 County Road 46, Peterborough County Depot location for free until April 14th. Residents are asked to place storm debris, brush in the designated areas, and follow depot signage.
