Public Meeting - Septic By-law & Fees

BUILDING BY-LAW FEE REVIEW - SEPTIC PERMIT FEES

After November 17, 2024, Peterborough Public Health (PPH) will no longer oversee the delivery of septic permit services, as they will be moved over to local municipalities.  Now, therefore, the Municipality of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen proposes to enact a By-law to change the Building By-law Fees, specifically to add septic system permit fees.

A public meeting will be held on September 17, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. This public meeting will be held in hybrid fashion (in-person and electronically). If you wish to participate or simply observe, the virtual zoom link will be available on the first page of the Council Meeting agenda, or you may contact the Municipal Clerk, Robert Angione, by email at bangione@hbmtwp.ca, no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the day prior to the scheduled meeting.
