Public Works Roadway Grading Underway

ROADWAY GRADING - PROGRESS UPDATE

The Public Works staff have been grading gravel roadways, as well as spreading gravel in areas where needed.

Public Works staff must be very selective and draw on their experience to know which roads can be graded and when. It is important to point out, grading at this time of year is very different from grading in the summer or fall. The frost is still coming out of the ground making certain roads very soft and poorly timed grading can worsen the condition of the road.

The unseasonal warm weather and heavy rain will impact our Public Works grading efforts.
