Rogers Cellular Tower Status Update

Improving cellular connectivity, data coverage, and capacity.

The following Rogers Cellular Towers are ISED approved and have HBM Township concurrence. Here is an update on tower operational status:

C3949 -126 FR 14, Havelock, (off County Rd 48)
-  Tower in Service

C8639 - 3024 County Rd 44, Hubble Rd, Havelock
-  Tower is constructed, no service at this time
-  HydroOne work is underway

C3918 - 92 Peninsula Rd, Havelock (south of North Shore Rd)
-  Planned construction August 2025
-  Planned service early 2026

C3917 - 445 West Kosh Rd, Lakefied (HBM Waste Transfer Station)
-  Soil testing April 2025
-  Planned construction April 20226

C8643 - County Rd 46, Havelock (south of Clare Newhams Rd)
* planned construction December 2025
 * planned service summer 2026

C2578 - County Rd 6, Lakefield (east of Morrow Lane)
-  Planned construction October 2025
-  Planned service early 2026

Note  The above tower is located within Douro-Dummer and has the Township of Douro-Dummer’s concurrence. It will service portions of County Rd 6, County Rd 44, and possibly south end of West Kosh.

EORN CELL GAP PROJECT

The abovementioned cellular towers are a part of the more than $300 million Cell Gap Project involves construction of approximately 300 new telecommunications sites and the upgrade of more than 300 existing sites. The Eastern Ontario Regional Network (EORN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving rural connectivity, supporting economic growth and enhancing quality of life. Created by the Eastern Ontario Wardens' Caucus, EORN helps to create innovative public-private partnerships to address the digital divide and support a stronger future for rural eastern Ontario communities.
