The Significant Weather Event Declaration is Lifted.

Effective immediately, the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen (HBM) is officially ending the Significant Weather Event, declared on Friday, March 28, 2025, in accordance with Ontario Regulation 239/02, the Minimum Maintenance Standards.

While the declared significant weather event has ended, residents are assured HBM Township’s Public Works crews remain actively engaged in post-storm clean-up and supporting waste disposal efforts.

The Township is sensitive there are residents who continue to be without power and impacted by the Ice Storm, we encourage you to visit the Township website www.hbmtwp.ca for information relating to:

• Free 24/7 jug fill & water supply
• Free storm debris and brush disposal
• Free spoiled food waste disposal
• Warming and electrical device charging
• Shower availability
