Be prepared for a highly impactful winter storm.
Total snowfall amounts of 20 to 40 cm.
Peak snowfall rates possibly exceeding 5 cm per hour.
Poor visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow.
The track of the low-pressure system responsible is still somewhat uncertain which will affect exact snowfall amounts.
Northeasterly winds gusting to 50 km/h will result in areas of blowing snow giving reduced visibility.
HBM Public Works Staff will be out monitoring, plowing and maintaining roads.
📌Please Note: All limited maintenance roads will be plowed Friday, February 14, 2025.
Limited Maintenance roads will not be plowed again until Tuesday February 18, 2025, at the earliest.
We recommend you monitor weather forecasts and weather warnings, and/or alerts closely. It’s important to adjust your speed to the road conditions, drive safely, and always respect snowplows.
Please be patient and keep your distance behind snowplows and sanders (do not pass).
Thank you.
