Agendas and Minutes
Agendas and minutes for Council, Board and Committee meetings are available on the Council and Committee Calendar. Minutes from Council meetings are posted to the website after they have been approved and adopted by Council.
To request copies of agenda items, such as reports or correspondence, you can email the Clerk, giving the specifics of dates and required material.
Council Meetings
Council meetings will be held as a hybrid meeting. A hybrid meeting is a meeting that is held both at a physical location and electronically, providing attendees with the option to observe the meeting either in person or virtually.

Meetings are open to the public via in person attendance or electronic link.
Meetings are held in the Council Chamber at 1 Ottawa Street East in Havelock.
Who Can Attend Council Meetings
All meetings of a council, local board, or committee of either must be open to the public, unless the subject matter fits within one of the 14 exceptions to that rule identified in s. 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001.
Anyone can attend an Open Council Meeting to observe the proceedings of Council.
Meetings are physically held in the Council Chamber at 1 Ottawa Street East in Havelock.
Attending A Council Meeting
If you wish to observe a council meeting you may do so in-person or virtually. If you would like to virtually attend a Council Meeting, the electronic meeting link (zoom) is located on the Agenda cover page.
A delegation at a council meeting will allow a person/group/organization to speak on a topic for a maximum time of ten (10) minutes.
If you would like to be a delegation at an upcoming Council meeting, please complete the delegation form.
Delegation forms will be accepted no later than eleven (11) days prior to the meeting date.
Please note that if the agenda is already full, the Clerk or Deputy Clerk may contact you to arrange a different meeting date that works for you.
